Jaya Nigam is a distinguished leader known for her expertise in investments, primarily in the Indian fixed income markets, cultivated over a span of more than two decades. She is proficient in managing sovereign and corporate bonds portfolios, and can adeptly handle liquidity and asset-liability gaps. As the Deputy CEO of Rajath Finance Limited, Jaya leverages her expertise to guide the company’s direction and strategies.

Prior to her current role, Jaya held positions at leading financial institutions such as HSBC Global Asset Management and IDFC Bank. At HSBC Global Asset Management (India), Jaya solely managed the USD 23 billion Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) portfolio. Additionally, she oversaw various functions including government liaison, risk management, trade surveillance and sales support.

Jaya is recognized for her strong, collaborative relationships with key market players and regulators, enabling navigation of complex transactions and achieving optimal outcomes.

Jaya holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and an MMS in Finance, both from the University of Mumbai, India.
